Insurances that we don’t accept

Are you covered by health insurance? or any of your family members? Don’t forget to use your podiatry allowance! Just like dental check ups, foot health checks are also important to avoid future foot problems and maintain your healthy feet.

Your health insurance policy is an agreement between you and your insurance company. The policy lists a package of medical benefits such as tests, drugs, and treatment services. The insurance company agrees to cover the cost of certain benefits listed in your policy. These are called “covered services.” Your policy also lists the kinds of services that are not covered by your insurance company. You have to pay for any uncovered medical care that you receive.

At this time we cannot accept AXA, Bupa and Vitality due to very low rates and as much as our profession is a vocation due to ever increasing business expenditures, clinic premises and clinical material / costs we would have to pay to work.

However we do accept all other insurances and this includes (*not an exhaustive) a wide range of medical insurance companies including WPA, Simply Health, HSA, Sovereign Health Care and Cigna.

Are you suffering from any of the two or other foot problems? At The Chelsea Clinic, we can help. One of our podiatrist can assist and then recommend what treatments are best to get you back on track. ✅
