Paola Ash and the Chelsea Clinic
CLINICAL OWNER AND HEAD PODIATRIST OF THE CHELSEA CLINIC
At The Chelsea clinic we have a very specific skill set with regards the foot and ankle. Pleased to offer a bespoke service which is tailored to the individual. With over 20 years experience in the Fitness and Healthcare industry we are registered and qualified with the Health Care Professions Council, the College of Podiatry and the General Osteopathic Council.
Pain can become a chronic and on-going feature in your life. It can lead to avoidance pattern behaviours. If your musculo skeletal system is not in alignment certain areas in the body overwork whilst other regions underwork. This perpetuates a cycle of excess stress and strain which without intervention can accelerate the wear and tear processes.
Here at the Chelsea clinic we can offer a number of solutions and treatment options tailored for you.
The path to creating The Chelsea clinic has been a long and winding journey full of unexpected joys but also a lot of struggles along the way.
22 years ago out one day on a walk through the beautiful Cannizaro Park I recognised that although I was teaching lots of yoga and pilates although my spiritual awakening was wonderful my love of physiology and anatomy during a sports massage course was forever ignited.
Fast forward two degrees in both Osteopathy and Podiatry working for a number of expert individuals whom I can never thank enough 10 years ago I decided to branch out and am very excited to present to you our new clinic at the heart of Chelsea.
We look forward to serve you and this is why you are so special to us because without you we would not exist.
Why The Chelsea clinic became podiatrists – Although I trained as an osteopath first, my early memories of the most lovely Mrs Herve, a chiropodist and podiatrist, have inspired me. I recall her treating me with orthotics and I did not consciously realise at the time what a big impact she would have on me. All I remember was the wonderful clean smells of her room, humming to herself, radio on and feeling very calm. Leaving her clinic I felt as though I was floating on air. I believe now with the benefit of hindsight it was because of Mrs Herve I followed my path into the fascinating world of Podiatry.
Best skill: Empathising and relating to people. As a client you are my top priority. If I have not treated you the same way I would treat my own family members then I have not undertaken my job the way I would expect.
Biggest fear: Over critical, never happy with any job I have performed always wanting the service to be better and better.
